Carringbooks is a series of interactive stories developed for adult EAL learners.
The series feature stories and language from everyday life that are relevant to adult learners living in Australia. The stories are designed to be used as tools in the classroom to accompany lessons on themes such as daily routines, going to a GP appointment, employment and other topics.
Each story features audio to enable readers to listen to individual words, language chunks and whole sentences.
The stories are also available as free PDFs on the Carringbush Adult Education website.
This project has been made possible by funding provided by Adult Community Further Education (ACFE).
